Halloween 2009

I know it's a little late but finally the pictures of our cute Cowboy on Halloween. We went over to my brother's house and Dylan loved trick-or-treating with his cousins. Dylan wanted to walk to every house by himself, even towards the end he was freezing and we would try to talk him into letting us hold him or his pumpkin and he refused. He kept saying, "I do it myself." He was so excited to get home and dump out all of his candy. He still asks us everyday if he can get a treat out of his pumpkin.

Baby Number Two

I know most of you already know but for those that don't.... I am prego with baby number two! I am due on June 4th. We are so excited and can't wait to have this sweet little baby in our home. Dylan always asks about the baby and when we ask him if it will be a baby brother or sister he generally says baby sister unless Chris persuades him to say baby brother. I guess we will see!!!

Happy Birthday Dylan

He wanted to ride the sheep so bad...

I really can't believe we have a 2 year old. He has turned into such a little boy. This year we wanted his Birthday to be all about him and the things he loves. So we decided to take him to This is the Place Monument. He is obsessed with Ponies and Trains and they have both so we knew he would love it. He rode on the pony all morning then we grabbed lunch and rode the train all afternoon. He had a permanent smile on his face. Chris and I commented all day how happy it makes you as a parent to see your kids happy. We then had a little Birthday Party for him with Chris' parents and Dylan opened up his presents. He of course was so excited about his new train we could not pull him away from it. But once we enticed him with the cake he came. :) We love Dylan so much. He is such a good boy and we could not imagine living our lives without him. Happy Birthday Big Boy!!!

Becoming Domestic

I have always been surrounded by such talented people (mom, grandma's, sister's) that I have never really had to learn all the "domestic" things. But this summer I really wanted to learn to sew and can. And here are my results. I sewed a cute little apron and then took advantage of all the delicious tomatoes. I am now looking forward to doing some more.
Thanks mom for all your help!!!

Temple Square and Snowbird

Last night we went up to Snowbird with Chris' parents. We watched the sunset and it was so beautiful. I could not believe how cold it was though. We are excited to go back for Oktober Fest!

Dylan has been obsessed with trains lately so last week I took him to ride the Trax. He did not want to get off so we rode them all the way to Temple Square. He had so much fun running around and especially loved his cookie from the Lions House. He was such a good boy!

Thanksgiving Point

(Me with my brother and his wife's new baby. He is such a cutie)

I love to get together with my sister-in-law and nephews. This month we took advantage of $2 Tuesday's at Thanksgiving Point and visited the Farm, Gardens and the Splash Pond. The boys had such a great time. Dylan is always so excited when he gets to spend time with his cousins. Dylan defiantly loved riding the Pony the most. I had a hard time getting him off. Everyday when he wakes up Chris asks him what he dreamed about and he always says ponies.

Fishing

Papa came down and ate dinner with us and then we took Dylan fishing in the pond behind our house. He kept saying he wanted to catch a green fish. I think Chris gets more excited to catch the fish than Dylan does but it's a fun time for all of us.
